Autoimmune thyroid diseases are organ –specificautoimmune disorders characterized by the presence ofautoantibodies to thyroid specific proteins such asthyroglobulin(TG), thyroid peroxidase(TPO) and thyrotropinreceptor(TSHr) in patients’sera.The aim of the work is to study the prevalence of thyroidantibodies (thyroglobulin antibodiesTGABs, thyroid peroxidaseantibodies TPOABs and thyrotropin receptor antibodies TSHrabs)in newly diagnosed patients with autoimmune thyroid diseasesas well as to study the course of the antibodies after 12 months offollow up.
