In this study we present a novel technique belongs to the second categorywhich designed to supplement the sphincter mechanism. It was practicedin 20 patients with incontinence of formed stooleThe procedure comprises the patient lay supine under generalanaesthesia and a fascia lata sling 30cm x 2.5 cm is taken and thedefect is closed immediately and the thigh is covered by a crepebandage .split the fascia lata in two parts one is 20 cm make atransverse curvilinear incision between the anal verge and thecoccyx the incision is deepened to enter the supralevator region .Asling of fascia lata 20x2.5 cm is sutured along its middle to the backof the upper part of the anal canal. An incision, 1 cm in length, ismade over the pubic ramus on each side.
