CT with multiplanar `1w`nd volumetric reformation can be a useful technique to demonstrate occult carpal fractures and to illustrate the complexity and extent of fractures and dislocations.Multidetector CT arthrography currently allows the direct visualization of ligament tears and is more sensitive than MR arthrography in the diagnosis of wrist ligament tears.The diagnostic accuracy of MR arthrography was intermediate between that of MRI and that of MDCT arthrography.
