Abstract

Routine Cerebrovascular imaging for left sided infective endocarditis helped to achieve significant improvement in IE morbidity and mortality. Early detection of SCBE “Sub-Acute Brain Embolizations” specially silent ICMAs and their appropriate management, cause declining for total IE mortality to 13%, neurologically complicated cases mortality to 19%, IE cases with ICMA mortality to 14.3%.
