Stress urinary incontinence (SUI) in female is a common prevalent disease and cause social and hygienic problems. SUI is defined as an involuntary passage of urine through an intact urethra due to increased intra-abdominal pressure in the absence of bladder contraction. Evaluation of patient with SUI include; history, physical examination, stress (MM) test, urodynamic studies and other radiological evaluation.Treatment of SUI include non-surgical in the form of behavioral and therapeutic treatment and surgical in the form of BNS through an abdominal approach like MMK procedure and Burch procedure, or through vaginal approach like AVWS and TVT procedure. This study compares the TVT and AVWS procedures.
