Abstract

Recognition of scar defect is important in the explanation of certain menstrual disorders. The purpose of this study was to evaluate of size of post cesarean section scar defects by transvaginal pelvic ultrasound and analysis of the relationship between these defects and menstruation. Done vaginal Ultrasound on 60 non pregnant previous cesarean section. Our study concluded the presence of a scar defect in a significant proportion of women who have had a caesarean and statistically significant association with post-menstrual spotting and a prolonged period in women with a PCSD.
