Abstract

This study included 30 patients and 15 completely normal subjects as a control group. The patients were divided into 3 groups: congestive splenomegaly, blood and lymph node causes and miscellaneous causes. 3-D Doppler Histogram was done with extraction of the following indices : MGV, VI, FI and VFI. It revealed that MGV and FI were statistically significant in patients than the control. The FI was statistically significant in the congestive splenomegaly group. The FI was statistically significant in dilated portal vein group.
