Retinal and choroidal vascular tumors as cavernous retinal hemangioma, Von-Hippel Lindau angiomatosis of the retina, Sturge-Weber syndrome and choroidal hemangioma represent a challanging ophthalmic problems not only because of their difficult treatment modalities but also as some of them may mimic more dangerous lesions as malignant melanoma. The aim of this essay is to review the indications, limitations, techniques and complications of laser therapy in choroidal and retinal vascular tumours.
