Diagnosis of liver diseases ranged between invasive and non-invasive techniques. Utrasonography is a very reliable method in diagnosing most liver diseases. Combination of ultrasonography and liver function tests has a sensitivity of 99.4%, the invasive method is the liver biopsy and Histopathological examination is highly sensitive method for diagnosis of focal lesions in the liver. Also, it aimed to study the sensitivity of abdominal ultrasonographic examination, in diagnosing various hepatic diseases in comparison to pathological examination. All individuals included in this study will be subjected to the following. Clinical assessment, liver function tests C.B.C, alkaline phosphates and liver ultrasonography some of them will be subjected to liver biopsy and histopathological examination.
