Abstract

Aim of the work: to evaluate the role of arthroscopic assessment and management of patients with refractor primary frozenshoulder including diabetic patients and it was effective in curing this refractory cases.Material and methods: 30 patients of refractory primary frozen shoulder were managed by using arthroscopic technique in Kaser-El-Aini hospital from December 2000 to March 2004.Results: hospitalization time averaged one day, duration of follow up averaged 10 months, function results were excellent in 60% of patients, satisfactory in 30% and unsatisfactory in 10%
