The septum is one of the preferred source in rhinoplasty because itrequires no additional incisions, there is no significant donor sitemorbidity, and its harvest may correct septal deviations andimprove the airway. Unfortunately, the quantity of septal cartilageavailable is frequently insufficient, which mandates the use ofalternative donor sites.
