Percutaneous Transluminal Angioplasty (PTA) andEndovascular stents were fully discussed in the aorto-iliac and femoropoplitealsegments.Other interventional procedures used in the treatment of chroniclower limb ischaemia were high lightened.Thirteen cases of chronic lower limb ischaemia were treated byendovascular intervention (PTA or/ PTA and stents). All the resultswere presented, tabulated, discussed in relation to similar literature. We conclude that peripheral vascular intervention (PPI) in treatment of chronic lower limb ischaemia offers a very goodalternative to surgery provided proper selection of indicated patients and the proper experience with catheters and guide wires. Sometimes conjoined treatment may yield the best results.
