Inferior epigastric vessel tissue anchorage was adopted inthe laparoscopic repair of 15 groin herniae using thetransabdominal preperitoneal route for mesh hernioplasty.Thetechnique is feasible, relatively reduced costs of consumables, itwas not associated with nerve entrapment, with a singlerecurrence in the early cases. The technique is modifiableaccording to the type of groin hernia.
