Antiphospholipid Syndrome is an immunological disorder in which there are autoantibodies against body phospholipids (natural antithrombotic substances) so it more or less affects most of body systems (mainly by thrombosis) especially the female reproductive functions.This essay is a trial to focus on most recent investigational modalities in diagnosis of antiphospholipid syndrome like aCL IgG, dRVVT and SCT, as well as recent treatment modalities like LMWH and TNF-α target agent. The pathophysiology of APS was discussed with some details.Special attention is given to the obstetrical and gynecological implications of antiphospholipid syndrome, especially repeated pregnancy loss, infertility and pregnancy induced hypertension.
