Neck and subcapital fractures of fifth metacarpal bone are common fractures. Nonunion is uncommon ; however malunion is a common complication of these fractures. Controversy exists regarding the optimal treatment of this fracture, which varies from nonoperative treatment to various internal fixation techniques. Twenty patients were managed by antegrade k-wires fixation (Bouquet technique) and follow up showed a good functional and radiological result.
