This study aims at registration of colorectal cancer (CRC) and adenomascases in Pathology Department of Kasr El Aini Hospital as well as ElsalamOncology Center. 333 CRC cases and 91 adenomas cases were collectedfrom both places in 5 years (2004-2008). In Pathology Department Kasr ElAini Hospital the frequency of CRC was found to be 0.906% of totalspecimens received, while in Elsalam Oncology Center it was 1.41 % oftotal specimens received. The frequency of adenomas in PathologyDepartment Kasr El Aini Hospital was found to be 0.29 % of totalspecimens received, while it was found to be 0.082% of total specimensreceived in Elsalam Oncology Center. Mean age for CRC and adenomaswere 48.9 and 49 years respectively. CRC was more common in females(51.4 %), while adenomas were more common in males (64.8 %).
