The study was done in Theodore Bilharzia Research Institute (TBRI) from feb.2002 to July 2002 on 23 adult male & female Shin Sheilla rabbits weighing an average of 2.5 kg & average age of 6 months as under general anesthesia laparotomy was done & embolization of the lateral right portal vein branch using Histoacryl aiming for evaluation of the effect of selective portal vein embolization on regeneration of the liver.
