Abstract

Endometriosis is a common and important clinical problem of women, predominantly those in the reproductive age group. It is classically defined as the presence of functional endometrium outside the uterine cavity; symptoms associated with endometriosis are infertility, dysmenorrhea and pelvic pain. Laparoscopy is the standard of reference in the diagnosis of endometriosis and the disease can be classified into several degrees during laparoscopy, treatment is by removing the implants via using different techniques e.g. Laser.
