Abstract

Living-donor lobar lung transplantation is thetransplantation of either the right or left lower lunglobe from one or two healthy donors to replace oneor both lungs from a patient with lung disease.Indications include primary pulmonary hypertension ,Pulmonary fibrosis , and cystic fibrosis. Acute rejection isthe most common complication; diagnosed by bronchoscopiclung biopsy.
