Abstract

The use of a continuous knotless technique for perineal repair is associated with less time of wound suturing, , perineal pain at 48 hours, sixth day and tenth day, need for pain killers and lower VAS scores than techniques with interrupted sutures. Indeed, the introduction of a continuous suturing policy would provide more comfortability, less suturing materials, less time for repair , less pain killers consumption and less need for removal of suture material than the interrupted method of repair .
