This essay discuses connective tissue disorders with pregnancy and its management. It discuses the immunological aspect of normal pregnancy as well as the Autoantibodies in rheumatic diseases. It reviews also some of the most common autoimmune diseases that complicate pregnancy such as rheumatoid arthritis, Systemic lupus erythematosus, Antiphospholipid syndrome, scleroderma, Dermatomyositis, Marfan syndrome, Ehler- Danlos syndrome and its management.
