This study included 42 patients with 49 HCC. All lesions < 5 cm in diameter. The patients were divided into three groups, group A treated by PAI. Group B treated by RFA), and group C treated by PEI. The response rate was 93.3% in group A, 86.6% in group B, while group C showed a response rate of 94%. Pre & Post treatment assessment by 3DUS showed its capacity in measurement of tumor volume, tumor vascularity & proper placement of the needle within HCC during ablation.
