Abstract

Prolonged pregnancy is a common problem. Its incidence is variable. It has been associated with increased perinatal morbidity & mortality. The objective of the study was to determine the value of the following Doppler indices (MCA-PI, UA-PI, MCA-PI/UA-PI), & amniotic fluid volume by ultrasound in pregnancies at or beyond 40 weeks of gestation & correlate it with the mode of delivery & perinatal outcome & according to the perinatal outcome the study population was divided into two groups according to presence or absence of adverse outcome.
