The precise and detailed knowledge of the anatomy of the intervertebral foramen of the cervical spine is essential for the diagnosis and management of cervical radiculopathy. The present work is therefore designed to provide a detailed description of the anatomical and radiological features of the cervical intervertebral foramina in normal and patients suffering from neck problems from C3-C4 to C6-C7 on both sides and sexes.In this study, 5 formalin fixed adult cadavers, a total of 237 radiological specimens (144 plain X-rays and 93 CT scans) of the cervical region of the vertebral column of 28 normal and 209 pathological cases from both sexes were used and subjected to morphological and radiometrical analysis, the age of cases ranged (25-65 years divided into 4 groups: 25-35, 36-45, 46-55 and 56-65).The results of the present study will help greatly in the surgical treatment strategies of the cervical region in cases of radiculopathies.
