Abstract

Giant cell tumour is a relatively uncommon lesion which occurs mostly in young adults. The age incidence occurs between 20-40 years with female predominance as 3:2. More than 46% of the tumour occurs around the knee joint at the epiphysis and adjacent metaphysis but almost all joints could be involved. Multicentric giant cell tumour is the presence of more than one primary giant cell tumour in the same patient. Pajet’s disease which runs in certain families may predispose
