Abstract

Introduction: Complex partial seizures represent the commonest type of refractory epilepsy & proper management of such seizure requires proper localization of the focus. Objective: To assess the sensitivity of the EEG,SPECT & MRI in focus detection. Patient &Methods: 30 patients withCPS (12 males & 18 females) age ranged (13-45 yrs). Results: EEG could localize the focus in 100% & lateralize it in 83%, MRI in 31%, SPECT in 80%. Conclusion: EEG showed the best sensitivity in localization in CPS.
