Neck masses both congenital and acquired are common in infant and children and usually cause a great problem to both the child and the parents. Multi-modalities are used in imaging of neck masses in infants and children such as plain radiographs, C.T. scan, ultrasound, MR imaging and nuclear scintigraphy . Sonography is commonly the first imaging modality after the clinical examination. It is easily tolerated by the child, inexpensive, available and safe.
