Abstract

Indomethacin is one of of the Non-steroidal antiinflammatory drugs which has been widely used for treatment of arthritis and other inflammatory diseases.The major side effect of indomethacin is enteropathy in form of small bowel mucosal breaks and ulceration. We investigate the histological and morphometric adverse effects on rat jejunum after indomethacin admistration and the possible protective role of zinc.
