Abstract

Thirty-nine third trimester primigravid women with variousdegrees of pre-eclampsia [mild (13), severe (13) and pe-eclampsia withIUGR (13)] were recruited for this study, and compared with 20 healthyprimi-gravid women with uncomplicated pregnancies as regards theirage, gestational age & fetal birth weight. These results were correlated tosVCAM-1 and sICAM-1 levels. All were singleton pregnancies and were subjected to historytaking, physical examination and few laboratory investigations inaddition to ultrasonography
