Abstract

The dynamic MRI is based on the principle that it studies the vascularity of thetumor and hence it indicates about the viability of the tumor.Aim of this study is to evaluate the use of DCE-MRI in estimating residualviable tumor present in osteosarcomas treated with induction chemotherapypreoperatively as well as correlation of the dynamic curves patterns with thehistopathological results.Patients and Methods: a prospective study done on fifty patients with provedosteosarcoma after completion of preoperative neoadjuvant chemotherapy weresubjected to conventional MRI and DCMI before surgery
