Abstract

Mental health is defined as a state of well-being in which every individual realizes his or her own potential, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to her or his community. Mental health and Quality of life (QOL) are affected by coronary artery disease (CAD) to varying extents. Coronary artery bypass surgery (CABG) surgery is expected to improve QOL for CAD patients Patient who have coronary artery insufficiency hope that success of CABG surgery will improve their survival, physical functioning and this can improve their mental health and QOL.
