Abstract
Antenatal care is one of the pillars of Safe Motherhoodinterventions that is believed to reduce maternal and perinatal mortality ifcarried out properly.Efforts to monitor progress in coverage of antenatal care havegenerally focused on quantifiable issues such as the number and timing ofvisits and the characteristics of users of the service. Quality of maternitycare was found to be defined and assessed in three different aspects:input, process and outcome. The study conducted in CSPM to assess the quality of ANCservices provided in Antenatal Care Clinic in CSPM for SafeMotherhood. The rationale for investigating the quality of ANC is to correctidentified deficiencies according to the client's needs and expectationsalso to assess client- provider interaction and encourage continuity ofcare. The study showed that the most causes which affect clientsatisfaction is the health care provider performance in the clinic. The study recommended that the results could be utilized by healthcare managers and policy makers to improve the quality of serviceprovided.
