Liver transplantation is the standard of care for end-stage liver disease. However, the prevalence of posttransplant cardiovascular complications has been rising with increased life expectancy after liver transplantation. This study was cross sectional study included 25 children recipients of orthotopic living related liver transplantation. Echocardiography showed significant increase in interventricular septum thickness (mean 0.89), pulmonary hypertension was obvious in studied children (mean mPAP +/-36.4), and early diastolic dysfunction Tei index (mean +/- 0.40). However Cardiac function is generally preserved.
