The use of thigh muscle flaps in coverage of defects in the trochanteric,ischial or groin regions has shown great reliability using gracilis ,sartorius ,tensor fascia lata and biceps femoris muscle.. Also the use of innervated gracilis muscle in patients with fecal incontinence was very successful. The study was done on 10 patients at Kasr El Eini Teaching Hospital over a period of two years.
