Abstract

Obesity has become a worldwide epidemic with ever increasing incidence and public health problems in both developing and developed countries.Obesity has a negative impact on the outcome of treatment of fertility. Weight reduction programme should be an essential component of infertility management.In young women being over weight appears to be one of the major and still neglected causes of subfertility not only the excessive amount but also the distribution of body fat is clearly related to loss of fertility.
