Abstract

Some occupational lung diseases have characteristic radiologic features suggesting the correct diagnosis. In other such diseases, clinical features and related occupational history should be combined with radiologic findings to reach the correct diagnosis. Plain chest x-ray (conventional and digital) has an important role in the diagnosis of such pathology, while non-contrast HRCT should be used only as complementary to verify an unclear aspect.
