Neonatal sepsis is still one of the major health problems allover the world. The aim of this study to determine number and percentage of admitted cases with sepsis in our NICU whether acquired or not and to study possible risk factors whether early onset or late onset, the common clinical signs, causative organisms efficiency of treatment and outcome of disease. This was carried out within the period between 1/6/2004 to 30/11/2005.
