The field of molecular diagnostic is growing, adapting, changing constantly and new information about the genetic, genomic and proteomic profiles for every area of medicine is accumulating; with special consideration in lymphoproliferative disorders, for example, non-Hodgkin lymphoma, chronic lymphocytic leukemia, acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Therefore, discrete subsets of lymphoid malignancies were identified. The achievements in research within the field of molecular diagnosis lead to development of medical care that could be tailored for each individual patient depending on integrating this new knowledge, regarding the molecular signature of cell of origin, into the process of selecting more specifically targeted therapies.
