Radial head dislocation in children was considered condition, but actually it isn’t as may cases are uderestimated and not reported. It may be subluxation (pulled elbow) or true dislocation with its varions types.Congenital cases depend mainly on morphological abnormalities of the head radius. Developmental cases progress with time traumatic cases may be either isolated or fractures other than Monteggia. Studying the condition is very important as radial head is very crucial in elbow stability both in flexion and extension and the condition is an important cause of long term elbow instability.
