Abstract
Hypoxic-ischemic injury in neonates remains an important and common-life threatening condition, resulting in multi-organ dysfunction. The kidney is the most damaged organ leading to either acute prerenal or intrinsic renal failure. In this study, we tried to highlight the early methods of diagnosis and the most recent lines of prevention and treatment with special stress on renal affection to lower the noxious sequelae.
