Abstract

I.v. lidocaine and magnesium improved postoperative analgesia and reduced intraoperative and postoperative opioid requirements in patients undergoing Open cholecytectomy. The recovery rates of FVC were significantly faster for the lidocaine group compared to the other two groups. The improvement of quality of recovery might facilitate rapid hospital discharge.
