Abstract

Pediatric pelvic fracture has been a debatable issue worldwide regarding management whether conservative or operative. Most of authors in the literature adopted the conservative measures for its treatment and many follow up studies were made showing that conservative management is effective but recently, studies started to show many complications after conservative management especially in unstable fractures. In our study , we enrolled 30 patients and we tried to manage their pelvic fractures either conservatively or operatively depending on certain indications we set and then we followed the patients for a period of time ( mean was 8 months) to assess the functional and radiological outcome of our choice of management.
