The study revealed positive correlation between CMR and 2D Echocardiography regarding LVEDV, LVESV and LVEF. Poor correlation was found regarding LVSV. Positive correlation was also noted between infarct size and SWM. The left ventricular ejection fraction correlates inversely with the percent of delayed enhanced myocardium on CMR.
