The present study was conducted upon 100 pregnancies suspected of FGR (case group) and 50 normal pregnancies (control group) with the aim to reveal the relationship between Doppler parameters of the uterine and umbilical scores and the adverse pregnancy outcomes including preterm deliveries (<37 weeks), delivery by C.S, 1st, 5th min apgar score <7, small for gestational age (SGA), admission to NICU. The results of this study showed that the pulsatility indices (PI) for both umbilical and uterine artery were higher in the case group than that in the control group among all grades of UAS and BFC with significant difference (p<0.05) between both study groups. Also, significant positive spearman correlation (p<0.05) was present between both the uterine artery scores (UAS) and umbilical arteries scores (BFC) separately and the adverse outcomes including preterm deliveries (<37 weeks), delivery by C.S, 1st min Apgar score <7 , SGA, NICU.
