Abstract

In this study, skin grafting was applied to reconstruct the cubital fossa after release contracture in 5 patients Reconstruction by local flap in 5 patients, two of them are reconstructed with pedicled flap three are reconstructed with Z-plasty. Among these five cases skin graft is applied in two of them as well The results were skin grafting is an ideal method covering a cubital fossa defect after release of elbow contracture, whereas the local flap is used when either there is exposed vessel, tendon or nerve or when the raw area is deep, but that is depending on the presence of healthy local tissue.
