Abstract

Superior pedicle reduction mammoplasty had the following advantages: It is safe technique regarding the vascularity of the nipple areola complex. The tissue in the superior pedicle, augments the upper portion of the breast in an area that is usually desired by patients requesting the procedure. The procedure produces an excellent breast contour and the absence of cutaneo-glandular clearage ensures long lasting results and less tendency to secondary ptosis. This study was on 10 patients for superior pedicle reduction mammoplasty, SSN-Nipple distance was up to 38cm and NAC lift was up to 15cm with no cases of nipple areola complex loss indicating the safety of this technique in different breast sizes.
