Abstract

The posterior mediastinal tumors mostly are neurogenic tumors which occur more commonly during infancy and childhood periods.Less commonly lymphoma, teratoma, mesenchymal tumors,…etc, can occur as posterior mediastinal tumors.Neurogenic tumors are usually asymptomatic during infancy and childhood periods, and usually symptomatic in adults Chest X-ray and C.T are mandatory investigations. Surgery is considered as the primary line of treatment.
