Abstract

Objective: write an essay and verify late results of ascending aortic surgery of cases done at the NHI between 1995-1999, patients are followed up and results are compared with results published at the literature .Conclusion: surgery of ascending aorta developed in the last 10 years .Results are centre dependent .In NHI morbidity and mortality have been reduced in the last 10 years after following several factors of safety.
