Abstract

The present study was conducted on 100 patients; 15 females (15%) and 85 males (85%). The mean and standard deviation values of age were 53.5 ± 8.3 years with a minimum of 34 and a maximum of 64 years. The overall EURO score below 4.The syntax score ranged from 7 to 43.5 with mean 22.7.There was no statistically significant correlation between syntax score and age. There was also no statistically significant association between syntax score and gender. There was statistically significant relation between syntax score and number of grafts done, cardiopulmonary bypass time and ischemic time. Correlations could not be computed for IABP, intractable arrhythmia, MI, ARF, cerebro-vascular accidents and hospital mortality as there were no cases or only one case with each variable because of small sample size.
