Aim: To study the effect of lutting resin systems on push out bond strength value of individually formed glass fiber post versus glass fiber post in conservative intra-radicular preparation in endodontically treated anterior teeth.Materials & methods: A total of forty four endodontically treated anterior teeth will be divided into 2 equal groups according to the material of its cementation: First group self adhesive resin cement (control group), second group: Etch and rinse adhesive resin cement. Each group will be further subdivided into 2 subgroups according to the type of fiber posts: subgroup A endodontically treated teeth with a formable glass fiber Post “everStick post “, subgroup B endodontically treated teeth with a glass fiber post. All sample were cutting into 3 slice by micro saw then all samples were subjected to micro-push out bond strength testing under a load parallel to their long axis using computer controlled universal testing machine. Data were collected and statistically analyzed. After push out testing, failure mode of all samples were examined visually and by stereomicroscope. Results: the highest debonding force value was recorded by the fiber post with variolink cement in cervical portion (12.05±1.22 N) followed by fiber post with Rely-x cement in cervical portion (7.03±0.94 N), everstick post with variolink cement in cervical portion (6.18±1.38 N), while the lowest value was for the everstick post with Rely-x cement in cervical portion (5.43±1.44 N). However one way ANOVA followed by pair-wise Student Newman Keuls (SNK) post-hoc tests were performed to detect significance between regions subgroups. Examination of the failure mode revealed that found showed predominantly mixed and adhesive failure with little cohesive failure. Conclusion: The total etch lutting agent affected better bond strength value in glass reinforced fiber posts compared to the self adhesive lutting agent.
